As the throw approaches, softball players attempting to move into scoring position will be able to slide with a reduced risk of injury, as the bases’ beveled corners and tapered base let players move right over the base while sliding. Base runners can also touch ’em all on a dinger thanks to the solid, one-piece rubber construction that withstands cleats.
